Post Doctoral Scholar position in the Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences will focus on modeling interactions of correlated electron systems with ultrafast laser fields. The work will involve analytic derivations and simulations of correlated electron systems.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree required in physics or related area. Background in AMO theory or computational physics is required.

The Department of Physics, within the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to join our team. The Department of Physics is one of the largest departments within the College. It operates within the state-of-the-art Physics Research Building with a significant research infrastructure. The department supports 57 faculty, brings in about $18 million in research funds per year, includes multiple research centers, a graduate program with over 200 graduate students, an undergraduate program with over 500 undergraduate students and teaches many thousands of students per year.
The pay range for this job profile is $48,000-$60,000 annually. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications
